ThermaCELL Mosquito Repellent Appliances offer effective mosquito control using butane cartridges and repellant mats to provide cordless and portable protection against mosquito bites during outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. ThermaCELL Repellant Appliances effectively repel up to 98 percent of mosquitoes without the use of an open flame, DEET, or smelly lotions, sprays or oils.

The Earth Scent mosquito repellent mats offer the same 15' x 15' area of protection against mosquito bites as the original ThermaCELL unscented repellant mats, but has an added benefit and convenience of a cover scent. It uses the same highly effective, hunting friendly mosquito repellent technology that serious hunters have sworn by for years, but the cover scent helps to disguise hunters from being winded by deer while they're hunting.

When heated in any ThermaCELL appliance, the ThermaCELL Earth Scent Mosquito Repellent Refill effectively repels mosquitoes, black flies, no-see ums & sand flies. It emits a convincing scent of mucky dirt and decaying leaves, with a scent that is designed to mask human odors, and lingers continuously for up to four hours per mat.

Refills can be stored for long periods of time. Cartridges and mats don't need to be used all at one time. For example, one could use the cartridge and mat for an hour a day. Simply turn the unit off and restart when ready. If time between use will be more than a 1 week, store the mat in a dry, dark place.
