Blue Rhino's SkeeterVac is the only mosquito trap that uses black and white contrasting colors to draw in mosquitoes and lures them directly into the fans path. The TacTrap should be replaced when you see that it is 80% to 90% covered with mosquitoes or other biting insects. Tabs on the top of the TacTrap allow for easier installation and removal when it is full of insects. Includes 2 TacTraps in each box.
Depending on how severe the mosquito infestation is, will determine how often you should change your TacTrap. If you have a lot of mosquitoes and your infestation is severe, you may see the TacTrap fill within a week, if you have a less severe infestation you may be able to get a month. We recommend you stock up with enough sticky traps to replace them at least one a month during mosquito season, until you're sure of how many you will require.
